My father in law's 1.9 berlingo combi (2002) decided to allow the clutch release bearing to implode causing destruction of nearly everything in the housing, Clutch fork, clutch kit, crank shaft sensor (speed sensor I am told) clutch release bearing sleeve are all ordered and to be collected.
The problem I have is that the crank sensor senses two magnetic??? lugs located at 3oclock and 9 oclock on the solid side of the flywheel (non ring gear side)
Some part of the omplosion has snapped these lugs off which means the engine will run rough and warning light will be lit- I have spoken to my local dealer who incorrectly told me i needed part numbers 697606 and 697614- these are however the crank shaft woodruff keys and not the magnets ' sensor drive lugs i need- I have looked on the exploded diagrams on service box and the holes for these lugs can be seen clearly at the edge of the solid part of the flywheel (showing as being at 1oclock and 7oclock) but no menton is made of the lugs which sit in them
You can clearly see the lugs on the picture at this link picture - in fact the ruler rests against them.
Does anyone have any idea where i can get them- the thin im concerned about is that if i buy a new flywheel from peugeot they won't be there as they are not shown on the diagram on servicebox.
Any help greatly appreciated!!!
