Blooming Drivers Seat base.
#1
Dam foam seat base is giving up the will to be a seat again, :brickwall:replaced it with a new one 70k miles ago, but splitting again. Cost 50 quid last time for a new one any know if its still a stock part or special order? and any idea of cost, good thing only just over 30 mins to fit as I changed the hog rings for cable ties, that trick works a treat.Big Grin

Hi I know you have already replaced a seat base(foam) but I did a write up, Drivers seat repair M49, in the how to section. and I put some tips for smoothing the seat frame and reinforcing the foam which may help. My repair is up to 120,000 miles now & still holding. Hope you can get it sorted.Confusedcratch:

Sod the passenger, i'm the one doing the driving LOL

Know someone who works at Carpenter, who produce memory foam and furniture foam. Might see if next time get a piece from them a stuff the seat with it.
