Hi all hope you all can help me? I've got a Berlingo van 03 reg 1.9 non turbo.my Bsi unit got wet and now it won't start:brickwall: can I buy one of eBay and put in??? Help me thanks

have you had it out of to try and dry it out also if you have and put it back in did you follow the bsi reset procedure.

I have had it out to dry it,then I put it back in then all the dash lights all on and head lights on with the key out??how do you do the Bsi reset procedure ?

You can not fit a second hand BSI unit unless its been virginised.
You will have to fit ECU,BSI & Key Antenna as a matched set if fitting second hand.
You must also ensure that the doner vehicle is exactly the same spec as your vehicle - i.e does it or yours have rain activated windscreen wipers- if you don`t the BSI won`t hibernate !
You might be able to use one of the two circuit boards out of a second hand BSI in your BSI Unit ( Not the PCB with the main processors on it) do a search on here i think someone did this a while ago.
