Back to Basics
#1
Did a few little jobs on the Berlingo over the weekend including fittling a dog-guard and the rest of the bits'n'bobs for the towbar.

Whilst the old-fart was farting about, I took the opportunity to have the front wheels off to inspect the brake pads and to lube/copperslip all the threads on the wheel studs all round.

Apparently same brake pads as my old Pug306 and no wiring present for wear indicators, also the car is not fitted with A.B.S. (no modulator block and no exciter rings on driveshafts present) which in my opinion was just something else to go wrong anyhow!!!.

The wiring does not appear to be CANBUS or connected to any electronic modules so other than the airbag system, central locking, radio and display and the electronically controlled engine, everything else is pretty basic and hopefully straightforward...

I think the less complicated the better ,but must admit that the ABS on my work van has come in handy a few times especially in the summer when the short skirts come out and I have been some what distracted. :-).
