Cruise Control (Again)
#1
With a drive down to Southern Spain coming up in a few weeks time I thought I´d have a go at installing cruise control. I bought a stalk from ebay (from a Picasa), fitted it and enabled the cruise control option in the BSI using Lexia. It doesn´t work :S

I have the clutch switch fitted and Lexia recognises when I press the clutch. Lexia also recognises all the switch inputs from the cruise control stalk - on, off, speed up, etc. But out on the road nothing happens!

Any ideas what else I need to do to get this to work?

Hi, there are two items to enable if I can remember, one is the BSI and the other is the Com 2000. Think this one is just to tell it that the switch unit is there.
Thought mine wasn't working at first but it enables after a certain speed I think. Confusedalut:

Do you get any audiable / visual warning that you have switched your cruise control on?

Hi, just fitted and got my cruise working on my 04 plate 2.0 hdi Berlingo. I was using Lexia via diagbox. You go to test by function, then driver aids and select the cruise control option. In there you should see a line for BSI, the Switch and Injection. It sounds like you may need to click on the injection menu and set cruise control to present in there. Then the injection needs to auto configure there will be screen options but it involves switching on ignition for 15 secs, then running engine then turning off ignition for 15 secs.

No, there's no indication that the cruise control is switched on. It's just by feel.
Think I was mistaken about the com 2000 bit, the post that Kanguro has posted rings a bell.

Thanks Kanguro, you were spot on. I phoned the local Citroen stealer and the technician gut told me the same. Just back from a test drive and it´s now working fine.

Result!
