Hi, sorry if this question has already been covered.
I have just bought a Berlingo Multispace XTR and my Tom Tom won't work in it.
I am assuming it is due to windscreen coating ??
Can anyone else confirm this and it the problem solved with an external antenna ?
Thanks guys !

I use a Garmin in my Multispace without any problem. Device holder is held by suction cup to lower left of windscreen.

TomTom Go 820 LIVE works fine in my XTR and it sits atop the dash. It seems there is a problem with some TomToms finding gps signal, you may have to visit the " my tomtom " or " tomtom home " websites to update software but soft-resetting seems to fix things and may need doing on a regular basis.

Not TomTom, but the GPS on my phone has no trouble getting a lock in the car. Completely different story under trees, but in the car its fine. Phone GPSs aren't particularly sensitive, so most dedicated GPSs should have no issues.

Thanks for all the replies, sorry I didn't get back before.
Got myself a new GPS in the end and works perfectly !
Phone still doesn't but I can live with that.
