Is it possible to increase the height of the driver's seat on the Mk2 ?? either by use of spacers OR by fitting a height adjustable seat ??

I used a piece of 2"x1" steel bar.
Cut three short sections and drilled to allow the bolts to pass through. Bought longer bolts and fixed it down. The only one that requires a bit of work is the front offside one as it fixes to an angled piece of the floorpan. Again, a piece of the same bar but cut each end on a bevel allowed to bolt through in two places to allow for the offset caused by the frame moving up 1". Make sense?

It's not safety, especially in a case of road accident.

In my country I will not recieve MOT's certificate because of this "tuning", though I live in banana republic. This mean that car will not have permittance to use my car in a roads of common usage (according to our laws it's a roads where people and cars moves).
