Radio Woes
#1
I have just bought an '05 Blingo HDi and it has a few wierdy points. The most urgent problem is the radio. I have replaced the standard radio cassette with an Alpine radio/CD player. After turning off the ignition, this continues to play for a minute or so, then turns off. No problem there; it's turning it on again where the issue arises. It loses all memory of the station presets and the CD starts at the first track again...
Is this a common problem with Berlingos? It didn't happen with this radio in my old car. I'm thinking I'm missing something from the wiring. Does anyone have a link to the radio/car wiring diagram?
It's doing my nut!:brickwall:
Cheers, Nick

It seems I'm not alone...

I'll give these tips a go...

I believe the workaround is to swap the red and the yellow wires.
There are several threads dealing with this specific topic.

Yes, citreon use the opposite to most when feeding the perm live used for memory so swapping the red and yellow till you find the right combination will solve.

As for power on and off, either learn to live with it (i have as can be useful) or search for eco mode as lots of threads about it.
