citroen berlingo diesel 1.9 got a fuel cut off switch ?

citroen berlingo diesel 1.9 non turbo,where is the fuel cut off switch 03 reg ?? Can't find it no where??help:brickwall:

Don't know for sure but I seem to remember reading somewhere that it was only
petrol engined vehicles that have this.......

Haynes manual says not all diesels are fitter with one but if fitted is located in the right hand rear corner of the engine compartment and you must disconnect the battery -v first before playing with it.

I think mine was behind the battery tray mounted on the back of the suspension turret, before I disconnected it. It trips out if you whack the kerb a bit hard or drive over a low drain grate at speed. Vehicles without an in-tank lift pump don't strictly need it anyway. It's only there to reduce fire risk from pumping out through ruptured fuel lines in an accident. A snapped cam belt usually serves to stop the engine quite successfully in a full-frontal smack. :p
