Hi Phil

A belated welcome to the forum

Just put the bike in the back!

I would be interested to get the details of your towbar man if all goes well (I am just down the road from you near T. Wells)
2005 Berlingo Multispace 1.6i Desire (Iron Grey)

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Providing you have the last numbers of the manufacturer's serial number then Peugeot dealers can cross-reference parts.... Here in sunny Stoke on Trent, the Citroen main dealer (won't name names and cause embarrasment to Evans Halshaw) has not got a "4-king-curlew" so I tend to use the Peugeot main dealer, Randles Peugeot, who are often cheaper and got their finger on the pulse...

Exactly, Andy. Strange how P and C still seem to be uneasy bedfellows after so many years as one company. I've had the same experience in London, Rotterdam and Amsterdam now.
I go to Pouw peugeot in S.W. Amsterdam for parts for jobs I do myself, although for the (increasing number of) jobs I no longer tackle myself, we've been lucky enough to find a small garage with two real mechanics (grizzled hair) who are capable of really diagnosing - not just following the dealer's standard mechanic's handbook, as it were. It's nice when your mechanic will really tell you what needs doing NOW, before the holiday trip, and what can wait a few months! They're not the absolute cheapest, but I reckon they've saved us money over the last 5 years or so...
All the best,
Richard.

Hi, thanks for that, in theory that looks simple enough, lol tho having only checked oil n water n fitted a stereo before, it also kinda looks abit daunting...... but hey ho needs must. i believe if what they say online is true, getting the dash off is the hard bit. thanks again.

I think if you have several days and a reasonable metric tool kit which include Torx drivers then you'll be OK.
It's best if you take photos at each step so you know you can refer to something on re-assembly.
This job is not for the faint of heart but if needs must then it is do-able.
Just take your time. Some of the dash fixings are reputedly difficult to get to and require other assemblies to be dismantled.
Good Luck. If you need any help you know where we are.
BTW Some of the best engineers/fitters I've come across are women!
