Fitting Heated Door Mirrors
#1
Okay, here goes....

When I bought my new Enterprise van a few weeks ago, I had the choice of picking one off the forecourt, or ordering one and waiting goodness knows how long. Also, the first one was cheaper. Cool Sorted!
I ideally wanted heated/folding door mirrors, but mine are electrically adjusted only (not heated/folding). Has anyone sussed out what would be involved in retrofitting heated door mirrors?
I'm not too bothered about folding, but heated would be handy in Winter.
I believe there is a switch required near my aircon switch and obviously 2 mirror glasses, but what of the wiring etc?

I did ask my dealership salesman, but when he started to work out the cost for them to do it, he overexcited himself so much, he had to be taken away in an ambulance!

So its either DIY or SFO

Don't know in the wonderful world of citroen and their strange wiring world, but every other car bar 1 has had the heated mirrors linked to the rear screen demister.

You might be lucky and find that its all there and just need the new mirror with the, element

Yes. I agree, but with not having any heated rear window (van), then there's no switch etc or anything for it to work the same time as. Anyone got access to a wiring diagram & I might have a poke about?

I fear that being an option the ECU will need re-progrmming to activate that particular circuit.....It would also be wise to ask if fitting yourself would adversely affect the guarantee.
