Hi folks, I recently got a 54 plate Berlingo van. I've got to say i'm very happy with it and intend to make good use of this community.
I've had a look through existing threads and my manual and I'm a little unclear on the solution to my problem:
I want to know if the standard Citroen CD head unit in the van has outputs for rear speakers? and if so, where are they? should there be a separate line out adapter?
My project is to run both rear speaker lines into one to supply a large cone built into a cabinet, recycled from an old bass guitar amp of mine to give it a little more drive and low end response. The standard speakers need a little more for my tastes, but I'm not interested in going down the ICE route of installing an after-market head, speakers, amp, sub etc. I'm hoping there will be a set of rear line outs i can simply patch into an insulated speaker cable running directly to my custom cabinet. This is by far the newest and most complicated wiring loom I've ever encountered and I can't find a clear diagram!
Sorry if this has come up before and i missed it searching through the forums.
thanks, Rich
also my first experience with manufacturer fitted head unit.
I've done some further reading and i hope to be able to fit a 'mini ISO' line out on what i've discovered to be an aux line in/out connecter on the back of the head. Can anyone confirm that this is an Aux connection before i dive in?
