cylinder head replaced with xantia's?
#1
We recently had our cam belt break. Upon inspection the cam shaft has snapped so we have decided to buy a secondhand cylinder head. the question is that a salvage yard had told us that they have a 1.9d (we have a 2002 berlingo 1.9d multispace) citroen xantia which still runs that they can take the head off of and sell us. We will get it skimmed and crack tested but will this definitely fit? And is there anything else we should be aware of?

the xantia is 1999 and our berlingo is 2002 (it has mk1 headlights if that makes it a mk1 overall somehow)

Hi, you need to check that both engine type/codes match. Chances are it will fit but be certain. Confusedtudy:
2006 2.0hdi 600 with bench seat.  Cool
