Strange sound from rear berlingo multispace 2002

Hello. first of all. I'm from Norway so my english can be a little strange some times.
I have a 2002 berlingo that lately have had some strange sounds from rear end.
it started with a cracking sound when i was driving in bumps.
No it's more like squecking sounds and knocks.

I can't see anything wrong but have read the forum and found different answers like torsion bar and the brake regulator.
If the torsion bar is damaged, how will I notice it?

I'm hoping for the brake regulator...

the brake regulator is usually a TWANG sound from the spring,when you release the handbrake or go over bumps

Hi, It could be your rear axle swinging arms if you are unlucky! :S
If it was a torsion bar you would notice the difference in height when looking at the back.

You mean a difference between left and right rear wheel?
I have the same issue with a "loud" rear axle, but my car have an extreme camber on both sides so I assume my only solution is to replace the rear axle.

Hi, get someone to bounce on the back of the van while you listen underneath. If it's the "cracking" sound then it's more than likely the axle has gone. illyme:

Am I right in thinking Morris 1000 front suspension used to collapse if a torsion bar broke
