Hi
I am new to here so please be gentle!
I have a 98 berlingo unfortunately the only key has been lost. I managed to get the key and immo codes from citroen, paid someone to come out and program it all to the van. The problem being the key and immo code is wrong so had to force entry to van. The immobilizer would not program due to code being wrong. I have triple checked with Citroen and they assure me that the details are correct, from factory anyway. So looks as though it may of had some replacement parts in it s past. I was informed by a local technician that you can remove the armour cover and bypass the immobilizer? I have sorced an ignition barrell, locks etc, that it all fitted now. When the armour cover was removed the stop solenoid had 3 wires going to the top of it. one earth, two 12v wires. He then said to buy a normal stop solenoid with the 1 12v fitting. I fitted this and the engine will start, albeit idle and throttle is poor plus the engine is rattling like a pig. Any help would be appreciated as ripping hair our now, van only cost £300 and with all this work is more than likely going to end up in the scrapyard.:brickwall:
