2.0 HDI lost coolant
#1
Hi,
Started my Berlingo the other day and the coolant light was on and STOP light flashing. Checked the level and it was just below min, took 700ml to refill to MAX (but no idea where it was sitting previously). Have covered 30 miles since with no noticeable loss of coolant, coolant looks OK (orange coloured but smells slightly oily, but not much more than my mates VW T4) No noticeable water in oil etc and no pressure build up in coolant tank. Engine is on 86k with FSH from Citroen. Am I worrying over nothing or does this indicate a problem?

No dont worry about it , a slight loss of coolant is acceptable. It could have beeen sitting on the min level for ages. Just keep an eye on it

No coolant lost for last 400 miles, so must have just been low. Thanks
