Hello All,
After reading some of the threads on here about OBD bluetooth scanners etc I was really looking forwards to plugging in my new vgate odb2 scan box I bought off evilbay last week. So... I plugged it in to the socket -then nothing... :S Not even the power led goes on and my Android phone doesn't detect anything. The car is an 04 plate 2.0HDi Desire without abs, passenger airbag or cruise.
I think I've read on here that some 2004 cars do and some don't, so I thoght i'd try anyway. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to confirm if this car has or doesn't have fully compatible OBD2 system or if i've just been sold a dud on ebay...?
I'm still blown away with the car and it achieves well over 50mpg on the motorway so I shouldn't really tamper with it... but still like the idea of using my android phone at least for mpg & trip computer...
Thanks in advance.
