Roof bar fixings
#1
Hi, Im wondering if someone can help solve a problem for me. Ive seen a multispace (2005) I like and have arranged to go and see it next Monday but forgot to ask the guy what fixing points it has as I need to fit roof bars to it asap. I cant phone to ask him as he's away on holiday til next Sunday and I dont have time to wait til I get the car then order the roof rack etc as im a window cleaner and need to be out working with it the next day. Ive looked online at various places and put the make and model in but some are showing the bars I need as ones that fix into metal sort of flaps that are fixed in the rain gutters of the car and others are showing me a set that kind of fix inside the doors?? Do all multispace models from this year have the rain gutters with the metal flaps in them?? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated guys n girls. Thanks

I think you'll find there are mounting points on the roof and there aren't any gutters. Like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1997-09-PEUGEO...20bf49f093 but i'm new to Berlingos so someone may be along to correct me in a while.

If it aint got factory bars, I believe it has flaps.
Certainly vans do.

Have a look at the 10th picture on here.

Why would you want bars and flaps?
Don't the bars get in the way of the flaps?
Can you use both at the same time? Confusedcratch:
