[Warning Light] help

hi ive mislaid my service manual ive a 51 plate berlingo van a red warning light comes on its like a mushroom with 2/3 squiggly lines underneath is it serious???? it goes of after about 10 mins but i cant find the answer anywhere so please please can someone help thanks ian

That's the coolant level warning lamp. Check the coolant level in the header tank. Be careful if the engine is hot.

I had a similar light on my previous car - peugeot 306 - and it was water in the diesel fuel - had to drain the fuel filter and prime it - if that's what it is, it's an easy job (but messy!).
