Hello from Glasgow
#1
Hi
Came across the Forum this evening
been having a look around and thought I might say hello.
I'm hoping to pick up a Berlingo this Friday if all goes well
It's a (XTR 1.6 HDi 110) After reading a couple of Posts I'm wondering if I should have gone for the 90 BHP didn't know about the DPF on the 110
hopefully it will be OK. Its an 09 Plate done 27000 Miles So I'm hoping the filter will have been cleaned by now.
Thanks
Ian

Well picked her up this afternoon.
First impressions are mixed,
On the Test drive I mentioned to the salesman that the Clutch Pedal felt a little high.
Assured me it would be checked before I picked up today. Response was that the Clutch is fine they all sit a little high
On the drive home this afternoon Car drove fine only when I put in first to pull away the pedal once again feels a bit high
hope i'll get used to it. Also have to get used to the Gear s they seem a bit far apart in the Box. And why is reverse gear right under fifth ?
One other thing looking at service book, Car registered May 2009 First service 15/06/10 9350 miles Second Service 07/08/12 26662 miles
Thats a long time between Services and Oil changes.
Might have had an interem Oil Change sometime in 2011 hope so anyway
Well to the Good bits
Car looks fantastic its a XTR 1.6HDi 110 has more Spec than I at first thought when went to see it
Electric folding Mirrors Cruise Control Bluetooth Rear Parking Sensors. Double Hitch TowBar with Removal Bar
Auto Headlights & Wipers
I think the only thing missing is Alloys. But I can live with that
Have taken a couple of Pics but not sure how to upload will have a look and hopefully get them up
Thanks
Ian

If the Mk3 is like the later Mk2 the clutch is hydraulic & non adjustable.Far better than having a cable sieze/break on you.
