Hey everyone,

I've just joined up as I have a Peugeot Partner but the Berlingo seems rather more popular Wink

I bought a MK2 2.0l HDI Partner as a non-runner. It was sold to me with 'an ECU problem'. I've recently swapped from Siemens injection to Bosch as I'm planning a remap and I'm just more keen on the Bosch setup to be honest. This was a fair bit more work than I initially thought!

After a lot of rewiring, the van starts and drives fine. For the life of me though, I cannot get it out of Eco Mode. I've checked all my wiring and it is as per the diagrams I have (from Autodata and Sedre). I've obviously started the van and driven it, make no difference. BSI reset doesn't help either.

I'm a bit stuck for now :S

Just thought I'd say hi anyway Smile

Hi there and welcome to the forum, that injection swap you have done sounds too much like hard work to me :-)

I cant help you with Eco Mode though but somebody will probably pop along soon and help you out.

You're stuck with the eco mode my old fruit. It's one of PSA's ideas to stop your battery going flat.
I just cannot understand how I have survived 45 years motoring without it.

Ive read you can pay your citroen garage megabucks to have the timeout extended but thats all.
Its only a battery saving gimmick ,nothing to do with engine performance.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

I think what 3oh6 is trying to say is that even when engine is running it is still in Eco Mode.

You're braver than me ! I thought about doing the conversion but after a bit of research about what was involved I gave up before I started. Still, hello and good luck.
