Undecided I've recently purchased a 2005 1.9D multispace (after 11 years with pug306s) and although first impressions seem pretty good, I was amazed to see a cassette slot in the stereo...so, if I just replace it with any old CD player will I just lose the controls on the stalk or am I being optimistic and it could result in major catastrophes??

Thanks peeps in advance..DaveUndecided

Hi and welcome

My advice would be to get the Citroen CD player unit (eBay or a breaker) which was available as an option. It should be a straight swap and allow you to keep the stalk controls.

Welcome mate.

I think you will lose the dash display info, but you can save the Stalk remote. Check this thread http://www.berlingoforum.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=53

This is what mine has factory fitted

Another example

and another

As these were factory fitted, I would have a small wager that the display will still work these Confused

Hi Chris, my unit has a rounded front, the ones you highlighted don't look the same, Dave

This is a better picture of one and you can see more clearly that it has the same curved front as your tape unit.
