Hi
Have had the Berlingo just over a week now, getting used to all the controls etc.
Thought at first the Clutch Pedal was a bit high but getting used to it now.
here's a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with.
I've noticed when starting that the diesel Glow Plug light doesn't illuminate.
Could understand when the engines warm but this would be first thing in the morning. Have had a few diesels and always waited for the light to go out. Im not sure if thais vehicle has a diesel light as I cant see it anywhere ?
Next question The Car is a 1.6 HDi 110 BHP I'm thinking DPF but having a look underneath can't see one. had a look under the bonnet at the EGR valve that looks like it might be the one with no DPF. So im wondering did some 110 s not have the DPF ?
Another question not that impressed with the fitted steering wheel looks a bit agricultural/Old Fashioned has anyone changed these for a more up to date looking wheel ?
Apologies if these have been asked before
Thanks
ian
PS
Sorry last question where would I find the wheel brace & Jack looked all over the Vehicle to no avail. Though their are so many storage units I may have overlooked it
Thanks again
Ian

The glowplug light won't come on till it's cold, I.e. zero degrees.
Jack is in the boot, right hand side behind the plastic panel.

Surprised you found the EGR valve, it is hidden under/behind the fuel filter.
Difficult to see unless you remove the air filter housing.

In case the jack is not in the side panel, mine is under the passengers seat you need to push the seat forward to see the 'flap' What year is your 110?

The DPF and cat are under the heatshield front centre of engine. Big cylindrical thing.

Thanks for all the replies
not had a chance to look for the jack. Glasgow weather Rains every day without fail
Must have the cleanest City in the UK
EGR Valve not sure if what I was looking at was the Valve. I had a look at the Berlingo downloads manuals and their was a diagram which showed what I thought was the EGR it mentioned a single & double butterfly valve or something, looking at the Valve i thought it looked a single which would have meant no DPF. But i stand corrected as I didn't look far enough under the exhaust. I think the DPF maybe covered by the Tray under the engine will have another look tomorrow
As far as the steering wheel goes think i'll just get a steering Wheel Cover
not brave enough to mess with the Airbags and things under the wheel
Thanks
