[Engine] Timing Belt & Stop light connection?
#1
Hi all, not new to forum but I havent posted before.

I had a timing belt/water pump change recently and ever since then the stop light/engine management light intermittently lights up. First 100 miles were ok but after that it has been quite frequent. I intend to take it back to the garage when I am back home but at present I am working away and it is not possible to do this. Do you think it probable a sensor has been disturbed during the work carried out? Any pointers would be a good start for me. Thanks in advance.

Hi, could be the the cam sensor which on mine is on the top of the rocker cover.
This looks at the cam pulley. (Item No.7)
