Parked in the city centre this morning did a few odds and sods,went to the post office,went to morrisons bought some cat food (spat it out quickly)etc,etc
Ooh! must keep an eye on the time in case.....-aaagh I forgot to buy a parking ticket!
Ran like stink(stink was fast enough today)back to the carpark -phew!- no nasty sticker bag on the window.
Thought deeply about buying a ticket retrospectivley,just to be honest,went over to the machine-

Well Evdama I can better that one.

Halfway around the town on Monday when I realised I hadn't put my parking badge in the windscreen, luckily the wife was in the motor and spotted the officious chappy with the peaked cap then put the badge in the screen P.D.Q.

Yesterday drove around with the driver's window down, took a roundabout a bit sharpish and some stuff fell out of the overhead shelf above me. Something resembling the wallet containing my parking badge came floating past my right shoulder and I thought it had gone out the window. Luckily it had chosen the option to drop into the back of the motor....

I would be away! Small victories and all that. Would be payback for getting wrongly ticketed in Liverpool once (that was a hassle to sort out and get my money back!)

As it happens I was parked adjacent to the wall of the neighbouring building-SA Evans Funeral Directors.
They must have thought I was on a business call.
What a score!!
