Drive Belt?
#1
Hi all, how goes it?.........

Pardon my ignorance (stupidity) but I need to get my hands on one of these drive belts before the weekend as mine is very frayed...... It's located to the left of the cam-belt housing and is clearly visible. All I would like to know is the exact name for the belt, is it just called a drive belt, auxillary drive belt etc?......... And are they all the same sizes for Mk 2 Belingo's?.... Mine is a '03 plate, 1.9D..................

I've attatched a piccy of the belt for your perusal.

Thanks my fellow Berlingoists! Confusedalut:

Auxilary belt mate. Even asking for a fan belt at most motor factor would get you the correct part.

If I remember correctly the belt varies according to whether there is air conditioning or not, the registration number given to the supplier will sort you out. Make sure the pulleys are clean before fitting and check the rollers run freely.

After ordering the Drive Belt off ECP online, we come to fit it and it's the wrong bloody one. aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhh. It seems to be about an inch too small! When I put my REG in on their website, this was one of the belts it suggested for me, so not quite sure what's happened!
