Berlingo camper conversions for sale!
#1
Hi,

I recently converted my Berlingo into a camper. I am planning on making this available as a kit.

Is this something that anyone would be interested in?

You would receive a double mattress that splits into 3 sections for easy storage:

It would comprise of a folding wooden section which sits in the footwell. To allow for easy set up between driving and camping this simply folds to allow seats to move into driving position. When ready to camp the seats are moved forwards and the wooden section folds down to complete bed. This also acts as great storage whilst used in both positions. The rest of the mattress is made up of two pieces that can either fill the back of the car to allow one easy level to pack on top of, or stack to give more space in the boot section of the car.

Added extras would include full set of custom curtains/custom mattress covers/sheets/bedding/cushions etc.

To allow this kit to fit your Berlingo the back seats would need to be removed. This can easily be achieved with a star key that fits the bolts attaching the seats.

Any feedback/interest would be great.

Thanks

I think it looks great. It seems to be a good way to use a Berlingo for camping without going the to whole effort and expense of some of the full on conversions. If it is not too expensive, then I don't see why it wouldn't be popular. I guess that you need to find a balance price-wise, that encourages people to buy yours, rather than to make their own version.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
