Live 12volt feed into interior Mark 3
#1
Thumbs Up
Hello, I have read a couple of posts regarding bringing a live feed into the car and have considered this myself.
Today I was talking to the auto electrician at my local Citroen dealer and asked about this, he tells me:
There is a live white cable coming into the area behind the near side panel in the boot, the panel is easily removed to give access. This feed is for connecting to towbar electrics and can have a spur taken from it. The under bonnet end is connected to a 30amp fuse in a fuse box beneath the main fuse box.
Just thought to pass it on as this may be useful to fellow Blingoers.

hi there - have a search for ' perm. live in boot area of mk111 multispace ' I had to suss this out last year 'the hard way' using a multimeter and tone generator to trace wires in the wiring loom when wiring up a towbar for my 61 plate Berlingo plus. Quite handy to know - but at the time dealers either didn't know or would not divulge any info to help! Have found this with Citroen dealers in general- they are very reluctant to pass on any technical information to the public so you were lucky to find someone willing to help!
