Hi all,
I have been lucky enough to get tickets to the btcc at silverstone, question is where will be the best place for a spectator on the national circuit?
I've never been to a race event so want,to,make sure we.can see a decent amount of action.
Thanks
Rob

BTCC on the National Circuit will be fun as it is the shortest of the Silverstone track layouts, meaning the cars stay close together. Personally, I have never like Silverstone much from a spectators point of view, as it is very flat so you can't see a great deal of what's going on. Buying a "roving grandstand" ticket is a good idea as it allows you to move about and find a good spot with a view of much more of the circuit.
As for where to sit, I would try around the Brooklands, Luffield, Woodcote area as you will see the cars braking from top speed into a very tight series of corners and then off down towards Copse.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
