I personally like the concersion, but the whole "still registered as hdi" and eml on because of coil pack makes me think something isn't right.

Love the idea but don't think it would be that quick for work, what with stopping to pick up the roof rack at every set of lights!! and that scary fuel consumption figure ***** that

I'll be able to comment on the MPG better soon, Just bought a 406 V6 Coupe as a runabout for when I cant be bothered with the van..Picking it up tomorrow! 28 MPG seems decent to me TBH, Remember getting my old Vectra 2.5 V6 GSI down to single figures on the trip computer lol. Guessing its still registered as an HDI as a tax dodge?

Still registered as an HDi???
Probably insured as one too?
Which is fine until you have an accident and end up in prison!
Not just the fact that it's a V6, it's a V6 in a modified van!
Ask the Meerkats for insurance, or the anoying man with the moustache, and see how far you get.
Modified means specialist insurance, which usually means expensive.
If you are over 50, live in a low crime area, with a garage, limited mileage, agreed value, alarm, immobiliser and tracker you should be fine.

TBH I've always found modified cars cheaper to insure through specialist insurers than standard cars through mainstream insurers. My old GTi6 only cost £400 per year FC will its extensive mods declared. And my vans insured via a specialist as modified for a decent price too Smile
