Some people are offering cash to end the sale early. Not sure I want to do that as feels bit dodgy.
Any thoughts?

Well that's the problem. Someone's offered £300 'cash today' which is prob about what I had thought / hoped it might fetch. Will feel a bit silly if it sells for £50!
As you say, it's all a gamble - either way!!

Its all a question of who much you want for your car. If they are offering a figure that your happy with then go for it but if you have lots of people watching the auction then it may pay to let it run to the end. You could always send the people who are asking to end it now a figure of what you would be happy with plus a couple of hundred on the top and see if they bite.
Are we there yet?????

I would have thought that the leather seats would be a good selling point, looks ok if only to use as a doner for spares.... Good luck with the e-bay and pity you didn't put a reserve price on it....

Yes, we're hoping the leather sells it.
Didn't want to put anyone off with too high a reserve, just to cover the costs of listing / selling. don't want it hanging around much longer than next weekend if we can help it - space is limited at home.
I think / hope we'll be okay and that it'll sell for at least as much as the scrap value (c.£200?)

What are the alloys and tyres like?
(Condition, before any sarcastic comments?)

Tyres are two years old - rears fine, fronts starting to near the wear limit indicators, prob 3-4mm? They are Hankook Optimo4S = proper all-season tyres, c/w snowflake symbol. Were brilliant in cold weather. I'll be sourcing a set for the new car...
Wheels are not new so have signs of lifting lacquer and minor corrosion and one or two small bits where previous owner/s have kerbed them and been repainted. Still round!
The whole car isn't pristine, has small dinks and so on.
It's a 11.5 yr old family Berlingo ;-) but it is probably worth a little bit for the some of the extras. 27 watchers now and two more bids of 'buy-it-today-mate for £200' last night!
