From 18th November 2012 the MOT certificate ( VT20 ) will not only show the cars current mileage but also the mileage from the 3 previous tests to combat clocked motors.

Took my AJS for test yesterday.
I got the latest format certificate-half an A4 with the details and the other half with a big advisory section.
The guy left mine blank because he "didnt know where to start.."
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Took the Berlingo last month, must admit the sheet of A4 masquerading as a test document threw me a bit....

I worked in Cinderford ("Snifferd" if youre a local) years ago and the flasher unit failed on my bike
I stopped at the garage on Steam Mills Road and picked up a universal one.
The oldgit refused to sell it to me because it was ' meant for a car not a bike'
Whats the difference-I argued its 12v with three terminals
He replied 'a bikes only got two indicators'
I shook my head and made for the door.
'Who killed the bear?-as they dont like being reminded of in the Forest....
It is on my to do list.

Ah, you must mean Zindyfud! Know it well. Know the garage too. He was right about the flasher unit of course. The unused flashes would accumulate within the unit eventually causing it to catch fire ;o)
Besides, doesn't your AJS rely on the MKI hand signal? :o)

'Conspiracy theory alert!'
I think the idea of the multiple mileages is so that the insurance companies can see how many miles you've really done per year and refuse to pay out because you said you only do 8000, but you've actually done 8120...
