Fuel pump location?

Hi can any one help me.. My berlingo 1.4 2004 has recently been having problems.
I took it on a road trip and is lacking power and spluttering whilst going up hills etc.
once I'm past 2500 revs and not putting to much pressure on the gas it drives and sounds well. When I put to much pressure on as it struggles it lacks power until I'm at high revs. My engine warning light illuminates also.
I've changed the fuel filter and got told it might be the fuel pump but I'm not to sure on its location etc. if so anyone know if its easy to take off?

I think the pump is mounted in the top of the fuel tank you will have to drop the tank to get at it. It is a combined pump/gauge sender unit. If it is this type once you remove the tank there is a large locking ring to undo and lift it out. On renault kangoos they had a large plate in the floor that you could remove so it saved taking the tank out, not sure it citroen does this as my van is ply lined.Check it out first though as looking on europarts web site they have various pump combinations.
