Has anyone driven the MK3 in XTR and non XTR trim.
The XTR has raised suspension, and 215/55 R16 rather than 205/65 R15.
How does the ride and handling compare?

Don't know about the Vtr but the Xtr is soft, Floppy and prone to buffeting on the motorway. But having said that its quite relaxing to drive and so long as you don't expect it to corner like its on rails.
It has what I call typical French suspension, Soft and squishy. And that's based on the first 2000 miles with my Xtr Hdi.

Then there's the XTR semi-auto which is slightly different again.Best to try each one out on decent test- drive to find out which best suits.

XTR semi-auto has VTR size wheels and tyres but raised height. Surprising how it sticks to the road on roundabouts if you keep the gas on , once you lose the fear factor with body tilting ! Obviously, don't overdo things and do as YOU feel fit, but I prefer to keep it smooth and not accelerating and /or braking too much.

I got no issues with the XTR ride find it good actually. Regarding tyre prices you need to shop around I got a set of winter tyres for £248.
