3yrs old and 1500 miles!
#1
Just joined your merry band of owners with an ex motability lease - 3 years old 1.6i Forte in Silver.

We pushed for the lowest possible mileage and as new as possibile without breaking £6k - but failed on that by £700 - being influenced by the opp to own an almost new car (in mileage) - gambling that the condition would be reflected in the mileage.

I say gambling as we bought on-line - sight unseen!! We received yesterday and we are delighted Big Grin

400 miles more on the clock from the delivery drive (included in the cost) to us in the Highlands. We also have a 7 day rejection option.....but don't think we will need that somehow.

We also run a 1991 VW T25 hiTop - on LPG - great for the kids and holidays.

Hope to contribute to, and learn from this community - like we have from a similar community worldwide on the VW.

We wanted a Berlingo as i am 6'4" and like to wear a VERY tall hat. Angel

Hi and welcome to the forum, having been an active member of the t25 and t4 forums, I`m pleased to say this one is up and running well now. The old berlingo is coming of fashion and will soon rank next to the VW sites. Wait and see, especially as fuel prices increase. My t4 was on lpg too.
Pete.

Welcome mikey9....i also had a VW T4 (did some mild customising on the few i had, great vans)
I have a Berlingo because they are fuel efficient (HDi) easy to drive and live with and obviously very practical, plus (so far) it's been reliable....A great allrounder!

Cheers guys for the welcomes.

Looking for Rear Mudflaps
Dog/Luggage Guard
Method for stringing Cargo Net flat above rear seats (for coats/hats etc.) - we do this in the van - works a treat.

The auto locking on drive off is a bit irritating - keep thinking something has hit the car....disable??

And have only driven for 25 miles.
About to find out how it is in the snow

Just hold the lock button down until you hear a beep. You should see a message on the display to say it's disabled.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
