clutch switch ???

Hi i am trying to fit cruse control to my mk2 16hdi
i have a lexia and in test the clutch switch shows on and off. but in i get a fault clutch switch bad or unreliable
no problem with switch for the c control
can any one please take a photo of the switch in place or a shot of a diagram as i cant see mine ?:brickwall:

Mine was in situ when I bought it and I fitted the cruise later

Hi, Just resolved a similar problem on our 1.6HDi with a clutch switch stuck operated (showing clutch pressed).

Can't get a photo - but upside down with mirror and torch, get your head right over by the heater vent in the center and look up the side of the clutch pedal support plate. The cut out is not as big as in the picture!!!
There is no easy way!!!
Could be a dirty switch or a dirty connector? (mine was)
