Fitting New Tie Down Rings/Loops

I want to fit some new tie down rings, anyone added additional rings before?

No -but the obvious is big plates underneath-screwfix /builders merchants will have galvanised stuff ready made-then underseal when your done.
Is 6 not enough?
My guests never manage to wriggle free.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

You can never have enough. ha!

Well actually I have a plywood floor currently and was consider fixing some to that just to strap a few things down so they don't slide around...

How about these then-you would still need washers on the underside to stop the fixings pulling through the ply with all the struggling.

Not bad idea... I would need to find some fairly flat bolt heads... Hunt is on...

Yes perfect or coach bolts-but make sure they have the square section under the head.
You drill a smaller size hole then bash them in from under the ply.The square bit then bites into the ply and stops the turning when you tighten the nut.

Sorted! I fitted two additional Tie down rings today. :-)

Drilled through the floor and bolted properly either side. Works a treat.
