Mk1 paint colour
#1
Morning peeps,

Can any one tell me the paint code for an Ex British Gas Berlingo, is it an original Citroen colour, some one suggested Pacific Blue but how do i check before buying a couple of aerosols.
it is the darker blue not the light 'Transco' pale blue.
loads this colour around!

You could get exactly the right code but find its the wrong colour -your original paintwork may well have faded
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

If its the vehicles first and original colour isn't the paint code printed at the bottom of the info panel below the drivers door hinge ? It is on my mk2 , fingers crossed Terry .

Thanks to nil by mouth and co. for the help, just went and looked again, didn't realise some of these numbers are the colour, my local main dealer (extremely helpful considering they knew there was nothing in it for them)said he thought it would start with a 'K' apparently it's called British Gas Blue, who would have guessed that!

Yep, KLJA it is! Try the paint match service at Halfords, then they could get the closest blue even if your paint is faded. Good luck!

I have 2 genuine Vauxhall touch-up pens (still in the cardboard) in British Gas Blue from a 55 plate Combo.
PM me, if you are interested.

Thanks for that J90xxx I really appreciate the offer, but that concrete post 'scratch' is gonna need a bit more paint.

Note to self: (1) Definitely always clear ice from mirrors before turning out of tight drive way! (2) Try to be completely awake before attempting to leave!

Picture to follow.
