Hey all,
I have a 2001 X reg 1.9D van. The last 2 days I've been hearing a strange whine/rattle noise; I hear it whilst driving, stationery in neutral, but NOT when the clutch is pushed down. I thought it may be the input shaft bearing but the sound isn't all the time.. you'll hear it for 20 seconds then nothing for 2 minutes and sometimes it will be every ten seconds etc.
The clutch feels great and no slippage in any gears. Saying that.. it was hard to get into 1st gear the other day? hmm.
