10 mph down
#1
Hi all , I've got a 2ltr hdi berlingo van . I went out for a run in it down the a30 and all I could get out of it was 90 mph, I am sure she could do a ton and stay there . It up to date with the service and the only thing I've changed is the wheels to 15 inch alloys and the bottom pulley any ideas how I can get my lost 10 mph back, I am not to :thumbsup:worried as I left a nob standing when he came right up my ass

The wheels aren't the problem, according to local legend mine does 100+ with 15's on

you only need to do 70mph anyway don't you? Confusedcratch:

I don't think it's much to worry about, how often do you hit the top-end anyway?

On our local private testing facility, mine will do 95mph on GPS.
And that's me running out of bottle, not power.
May well hit the ton? Confusedcratch:
And that's a 1.6 on 14s.

P.S.

I've seen 110 mph in my van at 5 in the morning going down a dual carrageway but now it stops at 90 mph:whistle:

Try turning southbound on the A30, its down hill all the way to the lizard ! that will get you the extra 10 mph !
