removing metal grill over headlamps on peugeot partner?

The headlamp motor is playing up on our partner so I've sourced a replacement but I've come to a halt at the first stage of replacing it.

I know I need to get the bumper off to access the bolt, but we have those silly metal grills on the headlights. How do I get those off without breaking them or the clips or leaving holes in the wing?

Do they just pull out? ie lever with a screwdriver?

Well, the answer is that you drill the rivets out.
