I was going down a lane at the weekend and encountered a flood. I let the car coming the opposite way come through so I could judge how deep it was. Nothing coming so off I set. I was about halfway through when a couple of cars come the other way. Now this lane is only just about wide enough for 2 cars in the dry. Does the first car stop, does he f**k? He was probably about 70 and I could see his wife cowering in the seat so she knew he was obviously being a tw*t. Fortunately the edge of the road wasn't too deep in water. What did he save - 15 seconds at most.

15 seconds is a lot when you are 70
All kidding aside, totally inconsiderate-one of my pet hates is when I am sitting on a side road indicating and trying to turn right onto main road and folk coming from the left don't stop to let me out but turn into the street I am trying to get out of.

Naughty naughty,Malc. That's ageist & not PC & you have probably infringed his human rights.(I'm 67).
You get dickheads at all ages but I must admit some older drivers seem to have lost the plot.
My motto;when in doubt-slow down,but don't faff around.
I look ahead when driving which saves fuel & brake pads.
It's also an attitude thing which sadly prevails today, but obviously not from forum members who are beyond reproach.Confusedcratch:
