Andre , why do newcomers get 5 stars? not knocking them, but wondered if its a tech hitch in system?

Could you tell me what you mean? When i see new members, they only have the 1 star. Maybe take a quick screen shot for us?

yes if you look at a few newcomers they have 5 blue stars.

We recently made some changes to the donation process, the new features can be found HERE.

So those you see with 5 stars who have just joined have kindly chose to donate.

Please remember, the donation system isn't meant to be some sort of VIP Membership, its just a way of saying thank you for those who donate.

Are there more perks at higher donation levels or is it one time does it all? I've seen things like this start major flame wars on other forums (fora??). Just curious Big Grin

I know this is a sensitive subject, but i have tried very hard to make it anything but! Donating makes a small change (if any) to your forum experience. There are no levels, nor will there be(!), its just a small incentive if people were inclined to in the first place.
