Key copy - 2004 mk2 1.9D
#1
This was a hard one to search for as the word key brings up loads of results so excuse the new thread!

Long story short I found out what I thought was the master key I got with my Berlingo does not start it. The engine just turns over.

The central locking remote key I use daily works fine, but I've now realised this is the only key I have!

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Surrey that can provide duplicate remote keyfobs?

Any idea of the price? £££ no doubt. :brickwall:

Thanks chaps

Try a search for 'Spare Key?', the reply from j9toby may be relevant.
At least you may be able to avoid getting really stuck in it.

You don't need a new key! You need to re-code the one that doesn't work.
That may mean however that both keys need to be re-coded. I believe Lexia is required to do this.
A Citroen independent repairer would be able to help.
The Older I get the Better I Was!  Cool

Can you code keys with the vehicle itself? I had a Fiesta years ago that lost the RCL coding, but with the key in the ignition an obscure sequence of button presses made the car recognise the key again.
