Wet Carpets

HI All,
Its a while since my last post mainly because I have not had any major problems with my 2003 1.9D Multispace since I got it in September.
However I have just noticed I have very wet carpets on the front passanger side.I understand its a trait with this model,the carpets were dry when I bought the car.I was wondering if anything can be done about this problem.

Have a look around the windscreen seal and make sure its a not getting through there and also check front scuttle as drain holes could be blocked. Just a thought dont the heater take its air from the passenger side scuttle perhaps its getting in there from a poor seal. Water leaks can be a sod to trace but a little bit of food colourant mixed in water and sparingly dripped around the suspected route in can make tracing the leak easier.
