Roof bars
#1
I sometimes need to move my ladder or carry something too big to go inside the car and have been looking at roof bars but there seems to be a very wide selection. I don't have roof rails, I would prefer the type that is removed after use and I'm not in a desperate hurry to buy. Do they make a mess of the attachment points ?
So where does this bit go then ?

I just fitted aluminium roof rails to the anchor points on the roof, with the intention of just to leave them there and attach bars when needed.
They really look the part and fitted great first time.
