Changing battery
#1
I've noticed the battery turning the engine slower and yesterday it was almost flat so I fitted a new one today. The Varta 640 may have been the original from 2003 but it was definitely not in it's prime and the 700 I've fitted fires the engine in 4 turns of the motor and it was -2° outside this morning. The coil light came on which I have only seen once before as well so I waited for it to go out before starting. I read of problems after swapping batteries so I connected my jump battery to the leads before disconnecting and fitting the new battery and didn't have to set the clock or anything after.
So where does this bit go then ?

Always a good plan, so long as you don't short the +ve lead onto anything whilst doing it, best to get a helper to hold the jump pack leads whilst doing it .
