Hi,

I have bought a Berlingo as a work horse. Mainly for the wife to go back and forth to the stables and cart hay, straw and horse feed around and to try and keep our other cars in better condition.



Anyway Here it is:



Its only done 175,000 miles although it is on its second engine now but it was cheap enough.

It also fits my mountain bikes in the back too which is a bonus!

Although high mileage it is in good condition inside and out. The fuel gauge caught us out and it ran out of diesel before it even went into the red which caused some problems. I had to change out the fuel filter and additional in-line filter, primed it through but then every morning you had to prime it through again to get it to run. It must have been getting air in from somewhere so we changed the fuel lines and it has been fine since.

Until the gear selector rod fell off the idler that is... Hopefully just ordered the parts so I will see how that goes.

Had to put 2 new tyres on it too but can't complain at that. Much cheaper than the 275/45/20 on the Touareg or 235/35/19 on the Megane!

The Saxo wheels do look good although close up they are flaking a little.

Yes my hard tail cost twice the price of Billy Bongo but my full sus over 5 times! Just shows what good value second hand Berlingos are!
