Stopped starting.
#1
This morning I drove through some awesome puddles, after which the engine (2.0HDI) didnt sound as smooth as usual. Anyway I pulled into a petrol station to fill up and the engine wouldnt restart. The engine turns over but fails to get going. I have left it to dry out.

Any ideas to aid recovery would be appreciated.

Cheers.

If you got water in the air intake it could be fatal, bent con rods, valves or both. Take the injectors out and turn it over see if it fires any water out. If it's still rough when it's dried out you will have to look under the head.
So where does this bit go then ?
