Don't know if they've changed the spec on "New" Berlingo's but my 3 year old XTR has a box with a sliding top and ash tray cup on the front of it which clips in or out. Some members don't like them if you read the likes /dislikes posts. Depends what type you've got, van, multispace??

I have a 2010 vtr and it didnt have a center box, so I bought one, took out a mortgage from citroen, about 350.00 in total, but it has to have both a base and the box to clip into. But I like it, for cd`s, junk etc and holds your cups.
In my oppinion its great, but each to their own.

Mine came with one installed. I find it handy.

Fitted as standard to XTR but not to VTR

Really handy, but it can be a bit awkward clipping front passenger seatbelt due to its close proximity. But benefits outweigh this, in my opinion.

Ok Thanks, everyone. sounds like it's a good thing, but I need to spend £350 to get one fitted. I might see if I can find an alternative. Any good suggestions will be appreciated.

like most things manufactured by main dealers its a good fit, slick in and out for cleaning down sides, as you point out it is difficult to engage seatbelts if in a rush sometimes.
as in most of life you pays your money and takes your choice, though by now I would have thought a few xtr `s may have ended up in scrapyards. Have you tried a search on scrapyard sites?
